Steps from your front door at Block 2 Lofts Apartments in Downtown Little Rock: Super Summer Saturdays!
The Clinton Presidential Center welcomes children of all ages to enjoy Super Summer Saturdays. From 10am-2pm, the Center will offer free, fun-filled, and educational activities. This summer, as the Center celebrates Dinosaurs Around the World, activities will include building your own dinosaur, creating fossil molds using clay, and participating in dinosaur digs. Super Summer Saturdays are free, however, admission fees to tour the Clinton Center apply.

In it’s 32nd year, Pops on the River is a free community event and the largest Fourth of July event in the state with more than 30,000 attendees. The event has expanded to include more activities, additional hours and a bigger fireworks show. Activities include: free children’s activities, a classic car show, a shopping marketplace, food trucks and lots of entertainment. Entertainment inside the First Security Amphitheater includes the Oh Say! Can you Sing? contest, live music, Salute the Troops campaign and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra.
New this year is the Military Appreciation Program where all military (active or retired) can receive special discounts and promotions at the event and after the event. The Farmers' Market has been a unique shopping experience since it opened in Downtown Little Rock in 1974.
Today, the Farmers' Market makes its home in the River Market's two outdoor, open-air pavilions overlooking Riverfront Park and the Arkansas River. The Market is filled with farm-fresh produce straight from the backs of the trucks. From May through October, find bargains on fresh Arkansas crops as well as a bountiful array of handmade arts and crafts.

This week check out the FREE movies in the park. This Thursday, June 17th 2015, at the First Security Ampitheater they will be showing the movie The Proposal. The amphitheater is only a five minute walk from the Block 2 Lofts!
Movies in the park is a fantastic public event here in Little Rock that takes place in the River Market.
