Do I need an appointment? Do you take walk-ins?
No appointment is necessary to tour our community; however, it is always appreciated if you call ahead to make sure we are available to provide adequate time for you to tour and ask questions. Please arrive no later than one half hour prior to closing if you would like to tour the property. Everyone over 18 must have a valid photo ID to tour the community.
What is the application fee and is it refundable?
Application fees are $50 per person 18 and older occupying the apartment. You may pay these online by credit card, or in our office with a cashier’s check. All application fees are nonrefundable.
How do I apply?
You can apply online by finding the "Apply Now" button on the right-hand side of the main menu on our property website, or click HERE to apply now.
Which utilities do I pay?
Water, sewer, trash, and pest control are all included in rent. Residents are responsible electric bills. Residents will contact Entergy for electric service and will be directly billed from Entergy.
Do you have cable/Internet services?
Yes, Xfinity and AT&T are our community cable and Internet providers.
What is the security deposit?
Security deposits will vary depending on qualifying criteria. The base security deposit varies by floor plan.
What kind of pets do you allow? How many pets may I have?
At Block 2 Lofts, we welcome up to 2 pets, cats or dogs are allowed. Any number of pets living in the apartment will then require a one-time, nonrefundable $300 pet fee. Monthly pet rent is $20 per pet. Breed restrictions apply, please contact the office. Read more about our pet policy HERE.
When is my rent payment due?
Rent is always due on or before the first of the month.
How can I pay my rent?
You can pay rent by setting up your online account on our property website. This allows you to use a bank account or credit card to make payments.
Who do I make my rent payable to?
You can make rent payable to Block 2 Lofts.
How can I refer a friend?
If you love Block 2 Lofts and want to refer a friend, please let our office know! We offer resident referral programs throughout the year and would love for your friends and family to join our community.
If something needs to be repaired in my apartment, how do I report it?
You may call the office, send an e-mail, or leave a message. You may also submit work orders online if you are enrolled in our online services.
There is a person who might be staying with me for a while, is that permitted by the lease?
Yes, if someone is temporarily staying with you, please let the office know so we can accommodate for parking. If someone is permanently moving in, or staying longer than 7 days, they will need to fill out an application to be added to your lease agreement.
I will be moving out. What do I need to do?
We require a 60-day written notice, which you are responsible through, prior to move-out. This is required regardless if the lease is ending or you are breaking your lease early. If you need to move-out at the end of your lease term, please remember to come in 60 days prior to the lease expiring to provide your written notice.
I’m locked out of my apartment. What do I do?
If you are locked out during business hours, you can come to the office to be let back in your apartment or garage.
I’ve lost my apartment and/or mailbox keys. What do I do?
If you have lost your keys, you may have new keys made at our office during business hours. Fees apply.
Block2 is the best way to discover what Little Rock really has to offer. It is the perfect midpoint between the River Market, SoMa, and Argenta. I've never experienced such helpful management in my life.
We always wanted to try downtown loft living, and we couldn’t be happier with Block 2 Lofts. We walk for downtown entertainment, to the best craft beers around, and ride the trolley across the bridge to the baseball park. Otherwise we love cooking out on the patio and watching fireworks, parades, marathons or just people making their way through our neighborhood. The best amenity is the friendly staff and fellow tenants (and their doggies).
The best thing about living here is the staff; I can walk into their office anytime. My favorite features about my apartment are concrete floors and high ceilings. When weather is nice, my building has a large rooftop for social gatherings or lounging around, reading a book and soaking up some sun. The surrounding area has a lot to offer, parks, great restaurants and nightlife. I work in Jacksonville, and commute downtown in less time than it takes my coworkers who live in Cabot and Ward.
I would recommend Block2 to ANYBODY wanting to live downtown in a loft. It starts with the staff who are great not only during the leasing process but remain just as helpful during your stay. Then add to that LOCATION! It is absolutely the best in River Market area. You will never be short of something to do downtown. In the building itself, I love the roof-top patio and the apartment is a cool, open-ceiling design. What they did with these old buildings is nothing short of spectacular!
All of my maintenance requests were cared for promptly and the guys were friendly when I saw them in the hallway. I got to know my neighbors and it was fun to see people out. The work out room was great for the winter and it was nice to get to know the people who worked out at the same time. I made a few friends that way! I think I still recognize more of the dogs in the building than their owners. It’s fun to see so many dogs around and the dog walker is impressive! Thanks for a great year!
